For this lesson, students will continue to examine Walter Dean Myers’ Harlem. The objective of this unit will be to consider the impact that the readers’ identity plays in understanding the work. Lowndes County Schools has adopted a new reading series for the 2015-2016 school year. Our new series is Journeys. We are very excited to implement this program in our schools.
