The gun I landed on for lucky pants was Crimson since it auto reloads on precision kills it just felt the best to me. I also had a 2nd set of lucky pants to swap to during the debuff since it resets it. So the main thing with lucky pants is it's a cycle. Normally it works like this. Switching to the [fully loaded] hand cannon increases damage per hit for only 6 seconds up to 600% but this is PVE only according to Destiny item Manager. You'll still benefit from the accuracy cone and extra handling stats tho.
